We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented drivers to support autonomous vehicle testing operations in Austin, TX.
As an Autonomous Vehicle Safety Driver, you’ll play a critical role in helping advance innovative vehicle technology while maintaining the highest standards of safety.
Responsibilities
✅ Monitor and operate autonomous vehicles in real-world driving conditions
✅ Remain alert and ready to safely take control of the vehicle when necessary
✅ Perform vehicle inspections and safety checks
✅ Document vehicle performance and testing observations
✅ Communicate effectively with operations teams and provide valuable feedback
✅ Maintain a professional and safety-focused mindset at all times
Requirements
✔ At least 3 years of driving experience with a valid U.S. driver’s license
✔ Clean driving record
✔ Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
✔ Excellent communication skills
✔ Comfortable driving in various weather and road conditions
✔ Must be able to successfully pass:
Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Review
Background Check
Drug Screen
Preferred Qualifications
⭐ Technical, IT, automotive, engineering, or related background preferred
⭐ Professional driving experience preferred but not required
⭐ Experience with vehicle technology, testing, fleet operations, or defensive driving is a plus
Available Schedules:
Tuesday – Saturday
☀️ 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
☀️ 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM
☀️ 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
🌙 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
🌙 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Friday – Monday
☀️ 4:30 AM – 3:00 PM
🌙 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM
Compensation
💵 $25.00 per hour
🕒 Full-Time (40 hours per week)
📅 12-Month Contract Assignment
