We are a dynamic IT support and computer repair company that has been growing in Austin since 1999. Our operations are expanding rapidly, and we are looking for 2 highly qualified individuals to join our small team of satisfied employees. We are currently looking for a hardware technician and a remote support technician.
Duties:
● Provide in-shop client support for PCs and Macs
● Troubleshoot and repair Hardware & Software issues on client systems both laptops and desktops
● Perform preventative maintenance and repairs for internal workstations & notebooks as needed
● Document, track, monitor and close open tickets to ensure a timely resolution using company procedures and best practices
● Provide support for Remote and On-Site Technicians
● Custom Builds Configuration and Assembly
● Troubleshoot and repair hardware / software issues on PCs, Macs, and servers in-shop
● Troubleshoot and support Windows environment in-shop.
● Troubleshoot and support Mac OS environment in-shop.
Required Skills:
- Laptop and Desktop disassembly/reassembly abilities, both PC and Mac
- Knowledge in Windows, Mac OS, Office Suites, Anti-virus, etc.
- 6+ Months experience in Customer Support position.
- Positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience repairing/replacing components on Macs including iMacs and MacBooks
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, problem solve, and document.
This position is a front-line, customer facing role, so solid communications skills and an ability to uncover unmet needs are critical for success. Focus will be in-shop/bench repairs and possibly remote assistance. Must have strong customer service skills. This position will require extensive documentation of activities performed for customers.

Remote Technician Duties:
Remote Support Technician (Austin)
Compensation: $19-$25/hr depending on knowledge/ability
Employment Type: full-time
Job Title: Remote Support Technician
* Provide over the phone, remote client support
* Troubleshoot and repair software issues on client systems remotely
* Perform preventative maintenance and repairs for internal workstations & notebooks as needed
* Document, track, monitor, and close open tickets to ensure a timely resolution.
*Troubleshoot and repair software issues on PCs, and servers in-shop and remotely.
* Troubleshoot and support Windows environment remotely.
* Troubleshoot and repair network malfunctions, connections to printers, other peripherals remotely.
REQUIREMENTS
Skills/Qualifications:
* Network experience.
* Extensive knowledge of Windows, Office Suites, Anti-virus, etc
* Knowledge of Office 365 preferred.
* Knowledge of PC/Laptop hardware, PC software.
* Must be able to demonstrate the ability to “figure it out” and have strong “Google-Fu.”
* Positive Attitude
