Certified eSupport is seeking an individual interested in an entry level Tier 1 Technical Support position to work in our Austin,Texas location. In this exciting role, you will support a variety of users and must demonstrate abilities required for excellent Help Desk support including: impeccable customer service skills and technical experience.  Training on job-related specific systems and requirements will be provided by Certified eSupport.

Must-haves for the new shining star in our constellation of epic badassery:

  • Ability to learn technical concepts and apply them to daily tasks
  • Have the heart of a teacher.  Have the skills of a technician. Have the love of your craft.
  • Ability to follow a curriculum (learn it, digest it, own it) teach it to our customers (on line)
  • Ability to follow instructions, execute on tasks and own up to wins and losses (see the big picture)
  • Ability to retain information, on products, procedures and protocol
  • Ability to communicate, clearly and concisely, in person, on the phone and in writing
  • Ability to maintain composure when dealing with difficult customer situations
  • Ability to create tickets in a ticket system (CRM) 
  • Ability to quickly listen and lead customers in the collecting of all necessary information during a short conversation. (who, what, where, how, gathering specific details regarding product version, OS and technical environment)

Key Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of iPhone and Android Phone Apps (install/configure)
  • Knowledge of operating systems.  Window 7 through 10.  Mac OS
  • Knowledge of how peripherals can be used to integrate with workflow solutions
  • Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, Active Directory, Shares and Permisssions)
  • Punctuality and Attendance should go without saying
