A major Japanese television production is coming to Austin, Texas, and we are looking for local personalities to participate in an upcoming segment! We are conducting an authentic taste test to crown the #1 Japanese BBQ sauce in Austin. This is purely for a TV show, not a marketing/commercial—we want honest opinions from the BBQ capital of the world.
What We Are Looking For:
We are seeking energetic Austin residents who are passionate about food and proud of their Lone Star lifestyle.
Requirements:
Location: Must currently reside in the Austin area.
Availability: Must be available for filming sometime between April 14th and April 17th.
The Palate: Must be a fan of BBQ and comfortable tasting various meats and sauces on camera.
The "House Tour" Segment: Our audience in Japan is fascinated by the scale, architecture, and interior design of American homes. We are specifically looking for participants willing to host a brief, friendly tour of their house to showcase the unique Austin lifestyle.
Project Details:
The Challenge: You will participate in a blind taste test of several popular Japanese sauces to see how they stack up against Texas standards.
The Goal: To determine which flavor profile truly resonates with Austin locals.
The Experience: A fun, professional filming environment and a chance to appear on a popular Japanese television program.
The Pay: We will offer USD$300 for your participation
