We’re an urban landscaping / exterior design firm looking for an experienced railing welder to jump in on an active project and help us hit a tight deadline.
About the project
• Exterior steel railings with cattle panel infill
• Stair rail sections included – must be comfortable laying out and welding stairs
• Material includes 1-1/4” Schedule 40 round bar and related components
• Onsite fabrication and install
• Work will run Monday through Wednesday, concluding with cleanup and completion on Wednesday
• This project needs to be wrapped so our client is ready for Thanksgiving
This is a short term contract with the possibility of more work if it is a good fit.
Requirements
• Proven experience fabricating and installing railings and stair rails
• Can read measurements, pitch, and layout for stairs without hand holding
• Clean, strong welds suitable for visible architectural work
• Must be reliable, on time, and able to work efficiently on a tight schedule
• Drug free and sober on the job with a clear head and steady hands
• Presentable, respectful, and able to work around homeowners and our crew in a professional way
• Must be available Monday through Wednesday for onsite work and final cleanup
• Able to bring basic welding and cutting tools; we can discuss what is onsite versus what you bring
