Position Summary
A skilled carpenter WITH OWN TOOLS involved in high-level millwork, including woodwork, casework, and/or ornamental metalwork.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Installation of AWW, PL + metal casework, fume hoods, DFH, and miscellaneous specialties
• Preplanning: determine tools needed, materials, and installation techniques to ensure the fastest and safest execution

• Follow all required safety programs and guidelines
• Perform all tasks in the safest manner—never put yourself in harm’s way
• Conduct yourself in a way that promotes personal safety and the safety of coworkers, contributing to a positive work
Environment
• Report workplace hazards and suggest corrective actions
• Use Stop Work Authority when needed and respect others exercising it
• Support and contribute to the overall success of the safety program
• Report all injuries and incidents immediately

Preferred Qualifications
Education/Experience
• Experience in casework, plastic laminate, and architectural millwork
Knowledge/Skills
• Ability to read blueprints
• Must supply personal tools
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

Minimum Qualifications
Education/Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3–5 years of experience as a finish carpenter
• Union member where applicable

Physical Requirements
Workers must be able to:
• Climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffolds
• Stoop, kneel, and crouch
• Use hands and arms to reach, handle, and manipulate objects
• Have good vision (natural or corrected)
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
