Established Austin locksmith company seeking professional locksmith technicians for night and weekend overflow work.
This position is focused on nights and weekends and is ideal for technicians who already understand locksmithing as a trade and take pride in reliability, professionalism, and customer service. Work is primarily vehicle and residential lockouts, with additional service opportunities available based on experience.
Position overview:
- Nights & weekends required
- Lockouts are the core of the work
- Mix of company and vendor-dispatched jobs
- Overflow-based (not guaranteed hourly shifts)
What we’re looking for:
- Locksmith or lockout experience preferred
- Your own basic locksmith tools
- Reliable transportation (required)
- Professional communication and appearance
- Ability to work independently and represent a quality brand
- Must be able to meet Texas locksmith licensing requirements
Compensation:
- Commission-based, paid per job
- Typically 25–35%, based on experience, reliability, and availability
