Action Screen Graphics is a screen printing and embroidery shop located on the East side of Austin, just 10 minutes from downtown. We do all of our artwork, embroidery, and printing in-house. We have a laid-back and flexible work environment and offer benefits to full-time employees such as paid time off and supplies discounts.
This role will require you to: interpret work orders for production; be mobile, lift up to 50 pounds, see fine-detail, and work in a standing position for extended periods; be organized with your time and workspace.

Responsibilities:
- Operate 10 head M&R
- Interpreting job orders and the set up, tear down, and registration of multi-color jobs quickly and accurately
- Quality Control and troubleshooting: Ensuring every print is crisp, cured, and consistent. Fine-tuning off-contact and pressure settings to ensure the perfect print every time.
- Ink mixing and technical mastery: mixing inks to exact pantone color codes, knowing when to adjust cure temperatures for different shirt materials, adjusting for soft-feel or water-based jobs.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience operating a press.
- Detail oriented: Someone who has an eye for minute details and is willing to take the extra step to make sure every aspect of a job is perfect. Good eyesight is a must.
- Tech savvy: Having a printer who understands vector files and film output is a huge plus. Some prints are really challenging and require collaboration between the art department and the press operator. Interest in graphic design is a plus, but not required.
- Good communication and team spirit: Someone who can communicate well with others because every job is a group effort.
- A passion for screen printing is a must. We need someone who will give every job the attention it needs to make it perfect.
