Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and disciplined Superintendent to oversee field operations for utility construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in water and sewer line installation, lift stations, and septic tank installations. This role requires leadership, accountability, and the ability to proactively manage daily operations to meet project goals safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate daily field activities for utility construction projects.
• Oversee installation of water lines, sewer lines, lift stations, and septic systems.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications accurately.
• Monitor daily production and ensure progress aligns with project schedules and goals.
• Submit daily reports and maintain organized on-site logs and documentation.
• Communicate effectively via email and with project stakeholders.
• Identify potential risks and implement preventive measures before issues arise.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and OSHA standards.
• Coordinate workforce, equipment, and materials to maintain productivity and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
• Proven experience in utility construction (water and sewer lines, lift stations, septic tanks).
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to prepare daily reports and maintain detailed job site records.
• High level of discipline, responsibility, and accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word).
• OSHA 30 Certification (required).
Work Schedule
• Monday through Friday
• Weekends as needed to meet project demands
