We are seeking a seasoned, hands-on bi lingual (English/Spanish) Construction Site Supervisor to oversee diverse projects ranging from heavy civil infrastructure to complex structural builds. The ideal candidate is a "big picture" thinker who doesn't miss the small details, ensuring that every phase of construction—from the first shovel in the ground to the final MEP trim-out—is executed with precision.
Key Responsibilities
Comprehensive Oversight: Manage daily operations for both horizontal (roads, utilities, grading) and vertical (structural shell, multi-story) construction projects.
Plan Mastery: Expertly read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP blueprints to ensure field execution aligns with design intent.
Estimation & Take-offs: Perform accurate quantity take-offs and assist in preparing material and labor estimates.
Shell & Core Specialist: Supervise exterior shell construction, including foundation, framing, masonry, and building envelope integrity.
MEP Coordination: Manage the installation and integration of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems, ensuring zero interference and code compliance.
Scheduling & Safety: Maintain strict project timelines and enforce a "safety-first" culture on-site, conducting regular inspections and tool-box talks.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in a supervisory role covering both civil/site work and structural building.
Technical Literacy: Proficiency in reading complex drawings and using estimation software or advanced Excel for take-offs.
Trade Knowledge: Deep understanding of MEP systems, building codes, and structural shell requirements.
Must have knowledge or know how to pull permits from the city as and when required.
Must know and keep the site ready and prepared for site inspections as scheduled.
Leadership: Proven ability to manage subcontractors, vendors, and internal crews effectively.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting daily progress and coordinating with project managers.
Logistics: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
