About the Role
We’re looking for reliable and motivated individuals to join our Austin Bird Scooters Operations Team! As a Scooter Operations Associate, you’ll play an important role in keeping Austin moving by charging, deploying, rebalancing, and transporting scooters to high-demand areas.
This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to earn extra income. Looking for preferably 2 people to work together. MUST have a truck and garage, no exceptions
Responsibilities
• Pick up scooters with low battery from the field.
• Charge scooters at your home or designated charging station.
• Redeploy scooters to high-demand zones in Austin.
• Rebalance scooters throughout the day to optimize usage.
• Transport damaged scooters to the Bird warehouse in Austin.
Requirements
• Valid driver’s license and car insurance
• Reliable truck or trailer
• Ability to lift and move scooters (up to 60 lbs).
• Smartphone with Bird’s fleet app.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently.
• Flexible schedule (evenings, early mornings, weekends).
