The Mission

Be the human touch in a high-tech world. TaskUs is looking for responsive, tech-savvy "Taskers" to support autonomous vehicle operations in Downtown Austin. When a self-driving car meets a challenge it can't solve - like a stray traffic cone or an unlatched door - you are the hero who gets it back on the road.

What You’ll Do

• Clear the Path: Remove cones or debris obstructing a vehicle.
• Secure the Vehicle: Close doors or hatches on stranded AVs.
• Support the Team: Provide on-site standby for complex recoveries.

Perks & Compensation

• The Retainer: Earn $10–$50 USD per shift just for being on-call.*
• The Intervention Bonus: Earn a flat $25 USD for every intervention completed.
• Paid Training: Earn $60 USD for a 4-hour on-site training session.

Who You Are

• Local: Live in Downtown Austin or within ~4 miles (15-min response time).
• Mobile: Reliable vehicle, valid TX License, and active insurance.
• Reliable: Clean driving record (2 years) and able to pass a background/drug test.

Requirements

• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Willingness to share a DMV record for review.
• Valid U.S. work authorization.
