Are you told... "You're too bossy!" Do you say... "Let me do it my way" or "Stop looking over my shoulder!" Unfortunately, many of us bring a controlling nature with us when we come into the Emotions Anonymous program.
Some of us, though, come filled with resentment towards others because we feel they are making every effort to control our lives. They may be a a spouse, significant other, parent, relative, or friend. Neither extreme is a happy place to be. EA is a 12 Step group a support group founded many years ago by AA members for folks with emotional problems. In Emotions Anonymous we admit to being powerless over our emotions. Some of us add that we're also powerless over other people, places, and things.
ANYbody qualifies to be a member of EA. We come to Emotions Anonymous we to gain some improvement in thoughts and behaviors - including the issue of CONTROL!!
