Anger is a normal feeling. We ALL experience it. But it can take over a life and I realized that my life was consumed by it.
Emotions Anonymous is a 12 Step group in which we admit to being powerless over our emotions. Some of us add that we're also powerless over other people, places, and things. So ANYbody qualifies to be a member of EA. A support group founded many years ago by AA members for folks with emotional problems, we come to gain some control over our thoughts and behaviors. In EA I learned a lot about my anger. Others told me how they learned to not let their own anger consume them. Together we're learning to deal with our emotions in healthy ways!
